Winter Riding
Duration: 3 hours

Details: With the aim of building confidence in wet, dark and cold conditions this course is tailored to those who want supervised tuition in the skills of winter riding. The course consists of class room work and a supervised road ride.
What do I need to bring?
It is important that any student taking part in our courses wears appropriate clothing. Helmets, gloves and high visibility jackets can be provided if required. If a student is supplying their own helmet it must be legal to use on UK roads.
If the instructor for the course feels that a student is wearing inappropriate clothing and is posing a risk to health and safety that student may be asked to rebook. If a student is asked to rebook due to this matter an additional charge may be payable before the start of the course.
It is also necessary that a valid UK driving licence be shown on arrival. If providing a Counterpart licence both card and paper part must be shown. If displaying a Paper style licence photographic ID must also be provided. It is the responsibility of the student to make sure that the licence is valid before attending any of the training courses. If a valid license can not be provided the student may not be able to complete the course and will not be eligible for a refund.
For all licence courses a valid Theory test certificate must be produced alongside a UK licence. A motorcycle test cannot be taken if the student does not provide a valid UK drivers licence and Theory test certificate.
If the student is taking any medication it is important to make sure that the instructor is aware of this. Instructors are not permitted to administer any medication. If the instructor feels that the course cannot be completed safely due to medical reasons the student may be asked to rebook.
Cancellations and re-bookings
Cancellations of courses due to adverse weather conditions will be posted on our news section online. If your course has been cancelled we will ring you on the morning of your course to inform you. If in any doubt please ring. Any courses that are cancelled due to bad weather can be rebooked at no extra charge.
If you wish to rebook your course for any reason you must provide at least 7 days notice. If providing more than 7 days notice rebookings are free. Any rebooking requests within 7 days from the date of the course are subject to a 50% booking fee. Please be aware that re-bookings of License Courses will result in the loss of test fees. If a student fails to attend a course without giving notice no refund will be offered.
