Details: CBT is the first step to getting your full UK motorcycle licence. The course has been designed to ensure that a basic level of riding can be accomplished by the student before that student is allowed to ride on the road unaided. The CBT will teach those who may not have experience on a bike how to ride. It is also a legal requirement to complete this course before proceeding to test level. The course finishes once the student has completed all elements required. The CBT is a training course and as such completion of the CBT in one day is not always possible as every student learns at different levels. If additional training is required your instructor will explain what will happen next. On successful completion a DL196 certificate will be issued. Further details are available upon request.

You Must Bring:
A Valid UK Drivers Licence (if producing a counterpart licence both card and paper part must be available upon request, if you are producing an "old style" paper licence then a valid passport must also be provided) It is important to note that the licence (and passport) must still be within the expiry date. Details on checking your licence can be found on our information page. You must also wear clothing that offers suitable protection, Jeans, Trainers and a jacket are acceptable. Helmet and Gloves can be provided at no extra cost.

Details: CBT+ is the same course as a CBT but taken on a larger size motorcycle. This course is only recommened to those who have already ridden motorcycles for a number of years and that have booked onto a Full Licence course. The course has been designed to ensure that a basic level of riding can be accomplished by the student before that student is allowed to ride on the road unaided.
